Employment Position - Maintenance Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, systems, and facilities. This role involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to support a safe and efficient work environment. The Maintenance Technician collaborates with other departments to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity, while adhering to safety standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Manage workflows through Appfolio or Yardi CMMS platform.
- Diagnose issues and repair machinery, tools, and building infrastructure.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs.
- Serve as a point of contact for service providers.
- Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and equipment upgrades.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g. Yardi, Appfolio, MRI Angus, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.

- The average work week is 40 hours, which can vary depending on business needs.

Pay Rate / Wages & Benefits
