Atlas Surveying, Inc. is an industry-leading professional land surveying firm with offices in Savannah/Hilton Head, Charleston, Charlotte and Greenville/Spartanburg.We use conventional tools, robots, and drones to conduct surveys and perform certifications, and to provide real-time GPS and aerial mapping.We serve real estate developers, and construction, architectural and engineering firms in the public and private sectors.

Atlas Surveying, Inc. is accepting resumes for the position of Information Technology Manager, based in our Bluffton, SC office. This position will be responsible for the IT Management of all 4 Atlas offices.

The IT manager will manage the operation of our company'sinformation technologysystems, coordinatingIT projectsandtroubleshootingtechnical issues. They will oversee theIT infrastructure, manage budgets, and manage the IT staff to meet organizational goals. Theideal candidatewill have strongproject management skills, leadership abilities, and expertise ininformation systems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• ManageIT infrastructure.Oversee networks, servers, andoperating systemsto ensure seamless functionality.
  • Advanced Knowledge of various Microsoft Operating Systems and Desktop Applications
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft-365 and Active Directory Platforms
• LeadIT projects.Driveimplementationefforts while meetingtimelinesand staying within budgets.
• DevelopIT policies.Create and enforcedisaster recovery plansand security protocols.
• SuperviseIT staff.Provide training, leadership, and support to ensure team effectiveness.
• Troubleshootissues.Resolve technical challenges to minimize downtime and improve system performance.
• Collaborate withstakeholders.Identifytechnology solutionsthat align with business goals and objectives.
• Overseeupgrades.Managesystem updates,software development, andlifecycleprocesses.
• Conductaudits.Perform regular compliance checks to meetinformation securitystandards.
• OptimizeIT operations.Streamline processes throughautomationand efficiency improvements.
• Vendor Management:Coordinate with software providers, MSPs, and hardware suppliers to manage licensing, procurement, and system lifecycle.

Qualifications and Key Skills

• Educational background.Bachelors degreeincomputer science,information technology, or arelated field is preferred.
• Proven experience.Strong background in managingIT teamsandimplementingprojects.
• Project management.Expertise indecision-makingand coordinating complex initiatives.
• Communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively withteam membersandstakeholders.
• Technical knowledge.Familiarity withIT infrastructure, networks,operating systems, andcloudsolutions.
• Problem-solvingskills.Address technical challenges and managesystem updateseffectively.
• Relevant certifications.ITIL, CompTIA Security+, or PMP credentials are a plus.
• Cybersecurityexpertise.Knowledge ofdisaster recovery planningand security best practices.
