Make an impact in the lives of students as a school-based Social Worker for the 2026-2027 academic year! This rewarding contract role offers the opportunity to support and empower children in a K-4 and K-12 environment. There are three full-time positions available covering elementary and all-school caseloads. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and administrative staff to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, working Monday through Friday, 35 to 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
Active, valid social work licensure in Pennsylvania
Recent experience in a school setting preferred
Familiarity with K-4 and K-12 caseloads, including Emotional Support and Autistic Support
Strong knowledge of educational and behavioral support systems
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and crisis intervention skills
Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school teams
Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and equity in service delivery

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct counseling and intervention supports to students, focusing on social-emotional development and behavioral needs
Participate in multi-disciplinary teams, Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and behavioral planning
Consult with teachers and families to increase inclusive classroom supports
Conduct assessments, facilitate referrals, and provide community resource information
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress
Advocate for student needs within the school and larger community
Foster a safe and positive environment for all learners
