The organization seeks a Google Cloud Platform Engineer who will blend administration, engineering, and customer engagement to enable large-scale migrations and integrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Cloud. The role emphasizes GCP, Google Workspace governance, IAM, security, and support for data initiatives including BigQuery.

Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $55.00 to $60.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:

- Administer and manage Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace environments.
- Lead and support migrations from Microsoft 365, including Power Apps, Power Automate flows, SharePoint sites, and email, to Google Cloud.
- Implement and maintain enterprise security controls, permissions, and compliance policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and federal leads to plan and execute transitions with minimal disruption.
- Provide technical guidance on integrations, API usage, and automation frameworks.
- Support BI initiatives and data conversions using Google tools, with emphasis on BigQuery.
- Represent the team in customer-facing meetings and provide clear technical communication.
- Maintain and develop internal tools and sites using Google Workspace and collaboration platforms for problem management and SLA reporting.
- Analyze and verify reported SLAs and perform quality assurance on content.
- Develop and maintain database functions, integrations, and custom applications on GCP in support of leadership and architecture needs.

- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace administration including permissions, security groups, and data sharing policies.
- Experience with cloud migrations, preferably from Microsoft 365 to Google Cloud; AWS or Azure migration experience acceptable.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Understanding of enterprise security and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholder engagement experience.
- Experience with BigQuery and BI tools (preferred).
- Exposure to API integrations and automation frameworks (preferred).
- Multi-cloud experience across AWS and Azure (preferred).

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Google Cloud certification (preferred).
- AWS or Azure certification (preferred).
