Principal Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We’re looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer with deep, hands-on experience in digital/mixed-signal circuit and high-reliability PCB design to lead embedded computing products from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
• Digital & mixed-signal circuit design
\n
• Schematic capture and component library development
\n
• PCB/PWB layout, routing, stack-up and controlled impedance
\n
• High-speed interfaces including Ethernet & Serial RapidIO (SRIO)
\n
• FPGA, DSP, Flash, RAM and embedded system design
\n
• PCB troubleshooting, testing and debugging
\n
• Design documentation and production transition
\n
• Collaboration with mechanical engineering, vendors and cross-functional teams
\n
• Mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership
\n
\n
What We’re Looking For:
\n
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
\n
• 10+ years of relevant circuit board design experience
\n
• Strong embedded systems and mixed-signal design background
\n
• Experience with FPGA/DSP and memory interfaces
\n
• Hands-on PCB troubleshooting and test development
\n
• Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout and routing tools
\n
\n
Nice to Have:
\n
• MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering
\n
• VPX / VITA standards experience
\n
• MIL-DTL-23200 and AS9100 experience
\n
• PADS Design / PADS Layout / PADS Router
\n
• VHDL and FPGA design experience
\n
• Agile / Atlassian Tool Suite experience
