Imagine you’re handed a slate of 10 projects spread across roughly 25 hydro facilities—most in Wisconsin, one in Minnesota. Over the next 12 months, you’ll translate operational needs into bid packages, coordinate design through construction, and close projects with precision. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, this role with WECTEC Staffing Services (Westinghouse Electric Company LLC’s wholly owned subsidiary) is for you.

Your impact

1. Write clear, complete bid/design specifications that contractors and plant teams can trust.
2. Drive the full project lifecycle—from initiation and planning to commissioning and closeout.
3. Partner with hydro plant management and contractors to remove roadblocks and maintain momentum.
4. Be on-site when it matters: expect 20–30% travel, weighted toward summer/fall construction; winter/spring focuses on design and closeout.

What it takes

• ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical, Electrical (Controls), or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Valid driver’s license.
• FE/EIT required; PE a plus; PMP or demonstrable project management experience preferred.
• Toolset: SAP for work management, scheduling with Primavera P6 or MS Project, and Bluebeam for markups/review.
• Background: 2+ years of engineering; hydro or industrial experience with at least 6+ months of hydro familiarity.

Compensation and perks

Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $60.00 - $66.00, dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills. Most positions qualify for benefits such as:
