Tesoro Group is seeking a Property Manager to join their team at (1) of their properties in St. Louis Park, MN (55426). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in property management. This role is contracted to hire (90 days before conversion) or can go direct hire with the right candidate.
This role will be working with 135 market rate units/3 stories.
Salary: $24-$26/hour DOQ.
Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00, in addition possible evenings and weekends depending upon occupancy and move in and move outs.
Responsibilities & Job Duties:
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
- Processing Section 8 certifications
- Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
- Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants
- Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
- Oversee properties' personnel and assess its performance
- Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance
- Caretaker work to include picking up trash and keeping common areas tidy, vacuum, dust, clean windows, take out trash.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3 years' experience in residential property management experience is required.
- Knowledge of affordable housing programs.
- Knowledge of government subsidy programs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong computer literacy skills, including experience with Yardi, Fortress, or other property management software, are strongly preferred.
- Have a driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check before employment.
