Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Field Support: Assist the Journeyman with troubleshooting and repairing fuel dispensers, canopy LED panels, and retail store equipment.
Conduit & Wiring: Help pull wire and install conduit fittings in accordance with hazardous location rules (NEC Article 514/500).
Material Handling: Organize, transport, and prep electrical tools, components, and safety gear on site.
Safety Execution: Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
Agency Reporting: Track contract timesheets and submit daily logs as required by the staffing agency.
Must have electrical knowledge.
Will be installing receptacles, hanging lighting, anything electrical, as well as working on laying conduit and pulling wire to the dispensers and canopies outside.

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensing: Active Apprentice Electrician registration/card valid in Topeka, KS.
Experience: Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program with basic commercial field exposure.
Contract Readiness: Must possess basic personal hand tools typical for an apprentice level.
Safety Mindset: Strong understanding of general OSHA safety standards and electrical safety.
Mobility: Valid driver’s license and independent, reliable transit to travel between assigned local stations.
MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS - hard hats, safety vests, safety goggles
