• Prepare and organize legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and trial preparation materials.
• Assist with litigation tasks, offering reliable support during the preparation phase for trials.
• Maintain accurate billing records and oversee calendar management for deadlines and court schedules.
• Utilize legal research tools like LexisNexis to provide pertinent case information and updates.
• Coordinate dictation and documentation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Demonstrate initiative and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Stay updated on relevant technology and software to streamline legal operations.
• Uphold a detail-oriented and proactive attitude to meet the needs of the firm.• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paralegal or legal secretary in a law firm setting.
• Proficiency in LexisNexis and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong organizational skills with experience in calendar management and briefing.
• Familiarity with litigation processes and trial preparation.
• Ability to handle billing functions and maintain detailed documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
