We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to join our team. In this role, you will be more than just a housekeeper; you are an essential part of our care community, helping to provide a welcoming home for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room Sanitation: Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with strict infection control and safety procedures.

  • Daily Upkeep: Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and wipe down furniture, beds, and fixtures.

  • Laundry: Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents' personal clothing and facility linens.

  • Trash & Linen: Safely remove trash and handle soiled linens following facility guidelines.

  • Restock Supplies: Replenish necessary items like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in resident rooms and shared spaces.

  • Discharge Cleaning: Perform terminal cleaning to prepare rooms for new residents.

Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping/laundry or custodial experience (healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus).

  • Strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

  • Compassionate attitude and respectful demeanor toward elderly residents.

  • Ability to stand and bend for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
