We are seeking a Project Manager Attorney to join our team! You will be responsible for the management of over 100 attorneys and paralegals working on a federal litigation project with deadlines pursuant to a court order. You will also perform billable work. You and your team will be responsible for review of documents for each claim, creating a summary of the claim, a determination of whether further evidence is needed, and then making a recommendation on adjudication supported by detailed decision letter.
We are in the office three days a week and work from home two days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a project management plan in compliance with the contract
- Oversee the work of attorneys and paralegals both virtual and in our office in Tysons, VA
- Meet with the government COR on a weekly basis to discuss performance and other issues
- Manage subcontractor
- Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met
- Maintain required project documentation and submit necessary reports on time
- Perform related administrative and management functions as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience
- Experience with relativity or another document management system
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- JD Degree from an accredited US law school
- Barred in any jurisdiction in the US
- Must be a US citizen
