Scope of Responsibilities:
DevOps & Dev Team Support:
- Maintain, monitor, and improve on-premises and hosted / cloud infrastructure.
- Support automation initiatives to enhance IT efficiency and scalability.
- Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of applications for Dev Teams to ensure they are properly integrated and equipped to execute their job.
- Maintain contact with vendors and oversees vendor’s case management systems to address issues during software development and troubleshooting.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless application deployments.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce best practices for compliance and risk management.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and incidents. Provide regular reports to stakeholders on system performance and issues.
Monitoring and troubleshooting:
- Assist development teams with troubleshooting, environment setup, and deployment processes.
- Monitor systems for performance and availability. Provide on-call support to address any issues and ensure quick resolution of technical problems.
- Document troubleshooting procedures and maintain knowledge base articles for common issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, quality assurance teams, and IT operations to foster a collaborative environment and ensure seamless integration of applications.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in IT support, DevOps practices, and developer collaboration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals and data processing platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with developers, IT teams, and end users.
