Job DescriptionOur client is looking for an Commercial Property Accountant in Dallas , Texas to join their team. The ideal candidate will take charge of full cycle property accounting with sharp accuracy owning the general ledger, driving clean monthly journal entries, and delivering fast, flawless reconciliations while keeping every report GAAP ready. You’ll command AP/AR oversight, power through vendor invoice reviews, stay on top of rent collections and tenant balances, and collaborate closely with property managers to keep financial operations smooth. You’ll also lead lease accounting with confidence, ensuring rent rolls, straight line rent, escalations, recoveries, and CAM reconciliations are executed with precision.

- 2+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience
- Proficiency in Yardi or MRI
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
