We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Manager to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations by managing maintenance and repair needs for retail stores across assigned regions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with vendors, respond to urgent situations, and support daily facility requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities for retail stores within designated states.
• Respond promptly to building emergencies such as fires, floods, power outages, and weather-related hazards.
• Address plumbing issues, liquid spills, and other incidents requiring clean-up or immediate attention.
• Assist department managers with facility-related changes and daily operational needs.
• Prioritize incoming maintenance requests and maintain accurate records of call histories using internal Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure competitive pricing and reliable services.
• Monitor ongoing facility needs and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
• Provide administrative support to ensure seamless coordination between departments and external service providers.
• Analyze and report on maintenance trends to improve overall efficiency.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative coordination or a similar role.
• Proficiency in administrative assistance tasks and property management.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data management and reporting.
• Ability to handle urgent situations with professionalism and efficiency.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
