Maintenance Supervisor

- 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11pm)

- $80,000 - $90,000, 5% Bonus
We are working with an established industrial product manufacturer based in Jackson, TN. They are recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team on 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11pm) in return for a salary in the region of $80,000-$90,000 along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Directly supervises Team Members in the Maintenance Department (3 Maintenance Technicians per shift)
- 85% production floor / 15% office duties
- Oversee maintenance of facilities, equipment, and machinery, ensuring timely execution of all scheduled repairs.
- Hands on maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, (electrical biased maintenance skillset is needed).
- Manage storeroom inventory, operations, and parts availability.
- Coordinate emergency response for plant incidents.
- Oversee machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
- Design and implement predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.
- Develop and deliver training programs for maintenance team members.
- Promote and enforce safety initiatives and environmental improvement programs.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, on time, and to a high-quality standard.
- Maintain accurate records of time, work orders, and maintenance activities.
- Provide support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on training.
- Proven mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Solid understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
