Job Title: Factory Automation Architect

Job Description:
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends (e.g., IoT, AI, robotics, digital twins) to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new automation projects.
- Design end-to-end automation systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Create detailed architectural blueprints, schematics, and specifications for various automation components (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, robots, sensors).
- Ensure system designs are modular, scalable, and interoperable with existing and future plant systems.
- Define standards and best practices for system development, coding, and documentation.
- Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers and technicians.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, contractors).
- Oversee system integration, testing, and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
- Supervise the installation and configuration of automation hardware and software.
- Develop and implement control logic, programming, and user interfaces.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert-level support.
