Cytotechnologist – Travel Position\n

\n
• Shift: Day shift (hours may vary)

\n

• Minimum Experience: 1 year\n
  \n
  • First-time travelers: Not accepted

  \n

\n

• Patient Population: Neonates through geriatrics

\n

• Required Certification:\n
  \n
  • Certification as a Cytotechnologist by either:\n
    \n
    • ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology), or

    \n

    • IAC (International Academy of Cytology)

    \n

  \n

\n

• Primary Responsibilities:\n
  \n
  • Perform analytical cytology procedures requiring professional-level expertise.

  \n

  • Interpret and analyze normal, abnormal, and atypical cytology specimens.

  \n

\n

• Charting System: Epic

\n

• Requested Time Off (RTO): Maximum of 7 days

\n

• Weekends: Every other weekend (unless otherwise specified)

\n

• Floating: Rare; only within the facility and within scope of practice as needed

\n

• Call: None

\n
