About Us:

Power Snell is an eminent domain and right-of-way firm representing public-sector entities exclusively. We enjoy a focused niche practice centered on the full lifecycle of public acquisitions, pre-acquisition strategy and negotiation, right-of-way conveyances, condemnation proceedings, and litigation posture that is defensible if contested.

Our approach is straightforward: we prepare carefully, communicate clearly, and execute consistently. Whether advising on acquisition strategy, resolving valuation disputes, or litigating contested takings, we build cases with the expectation they may be tried, and the discipline to resolve them when they should be. We value professionalism, sound judgment, and work that stands up to scrutiny in court and on appeal.

We maintain a collegial, team-oriented atmosphere and are committed to mentoring the next generation of attorneys. Law clerks at our firm are not relegated to the sidelines, they are trusted contributors who help shape arguments, research novel legal issues, and see the full arc of a case or project.

  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30, or as otherwise allowed e.g.,10–20 hours/week during the semester, full-time in summer.

  • Mentorship from experienced attorneys
