Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Patent Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent law and litigation, with expertise in handling complex intellectual property issues. The Patent Attorney will work closely with clients to protect their inventions and navigate the patent application process effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and prosecute patent applications
  • Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses
  • Represent clients in patent litigation and disputes
  • Advise clients on intellectual property strategy and compliance
  • Stay updated on changes in patent law and industry trends
  • Collaborate with inventors and technical teams to understand innovations

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in relevant jurisdictions
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent law and litigation
  • Strong understanding of patent processes and intellectual property law
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Preferred: Technical background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Preferred: Experience as an IP Attorney
