Key qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state-specific)
- Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
- Strong classroom management and de-escalation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Passion for promoting inclusion, advocacy, and individualized support
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Modify instructional strategies to meet diverse learning profiles
