Role Description:
Keeprite Refrigeration is currently looking for a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator in the Kilgore, TX area. The job responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to...
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping instructions.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain warehouse organization, keeping work areas clean and safe.
- Use scanners, inventory systems, and shipping software to prepare shipments and update records.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Work with team members and carriers to ensure on-time shipments.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics is required.
- Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs and work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Experience with shipping software (UPS, FedEx, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Occasional Saturdays, as required
