Senior Cultural Resources Project Manager
Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN | Full-Time | 50% Travel
Scientific | $85K-$120K + Massive Bonus Potential

A nationally respected consulting firm is seeking a Senior Cultural Resources Project Manager to lead archaeological investigations and cultural resource management across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and environmental projects. This is a high-impact, client-facing role with significant autonomy and leadership opportunity.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as Principal Investigator for surveys, excavations, and construction monitoring.
  • Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Author technical reports and contribute to proposals and strategic planning.
  • Mentor junior staff and support professional development.
  • Expand market reach and identify new project opportunities.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited program required.
  • Master's or PhD in archaeology, anthropology, or related field.
  • Meets Secretary of the Interior standards for archaeology.
  • 6+ years of experience in field investigations, artifact analysis, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Midwest states (MN, ND, SD, WI) and federal permitting.
  • Strong writing, leadership, and GPS/data collection skills.
  • Ability to work in remote field conditions and dynamic environments.
  • Registered Professional Archaeologist (preferred).
  • Prior consulting and federal agency experience (preferred).
