Job Description
The Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical patients and a mixed patient population in an outpatient clinic setting. Reporting to the nurse manager and managing a typical 1:1 to assignment, the nurse supports patient care through assessment, treatment, education, monitoring, and timely clinical response.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and identify care needs.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Monitor patients and recognize changes in clinical status.
- Educate patients about care, treatment, and health management.
- Document patient information and clinical care accurately.
- Support prescribed treatments and care plans.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and escalating patient needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in registered nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Patient assessment and medication administration skills.
- Experience with care planning, clinical documentation, and infection control.
- Strong critical-thinking, communication, and team-collaboration skills.
