Turning Point, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodial / Light Maintenance Technician to support our residential and treatment facilities. This essential role ensures that our spaces are well-maintained, sanitary, and comfortable for clients, staff, and visitors. The Custodial / Light Maintenance Technician plays a key role in supporting a therapeutic and respectful environment where recovery can thrive.
What You’ll Do:
As a Custodial / Light Maintenance Technician, you’ll help maintain a safe and functional facility. You’ll:
- Perform routine cleaning of common areas, offices, restrooms, and residential spaces
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Complete light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, and minor repairs
- Monitor building conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment; request restocking as needed
- Assist with room setups, furniture moving, and seasonal or deep-cleaning projects
- Follow all safety procedures, infection control practices, and organizational policies
- Support a calm, respectful, and recovery-focused environment
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License required
- Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic cleaning methods and safe use of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physical ability to perform light maintenance tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Respect for confidentiality and professional boundaries in a treatment setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in residential, healthcare, or treatment settings
- Basic maintenance or repair skills
- Ability to navigate stairs and perform light physical labor
