Squadron RPO is currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join a well-established litigation practice based in Morristown, New Jersey. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys interested in medical malpractice defense work or those seeking to develop or deepen their experience in this specialized area of litigation.

The Associate Attorney will have meaningful opportunities to contribute to complex litigation matters while working closely with experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative environment.


Position Overview


The Associate Attorney will support the firm’s medical malpractice defense practice and work closely with experienced litigators on all aspects of case development and litigation.


Responsibilities will include legal research and writing, discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting depositions, and assisting with trial preparation.


This role offers meaningful exposure to complex medical malpractice defense matters within a collaborative and high-performing legal team.


Compensation and Benefits


  • Salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience

Qualifications


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar, or eligibility for admission
  • 0–10 years of litigation experience
  • Prior experience in medical malpractice defense is preferred but not required
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced litigation environment
  • Demonstrated interest in medical malpractice defense or civil litigation
