They will be 100% in the field, traveling throughout DC/VA & visiting homes to meet directly with homeowners. They will support project delivery of Ramboll’s Municipal Water/Wastewater Infrastructure construction projects, including DC Water. These will be folks with a Construction background, not an engineering background. They can have any type of construction inspection experience, and must be okay not having a local office to report to. They will be reporting to different sites (driving around) each day. The main team sits out of Chicago, Illinois, but this person will never be traveling outside of VA or DC. Key tasks and responsibilities will be:Inspects and observes that a construction project, or aspect of a construction project, is constructed in accordance with plans and specifications provided for the project.Identifies unforeseen conditions and communicates such to the attention of senior supervising construction staff.Maintains accurate field notes and daily reports and tracks schedule progress for project.Performs basic estimating.Acquires field information to aid in project design.Develops and maintains a professional working relationship with the design divisions, construction contractors and sub-contractors.Demonstrate sufficient skills and judgment to be responsible for inspection of portions of projects under the supervision of senior construction staff.May provide supervision to less experienced inspectors.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
