Job Summary
As a Facilities Associate at Forrest Solutions, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation, cleanliness, functionality, and overall maintenance of our clients’ workplace environments. This role supports the day-to-day activities of facility management, contributing directly to a safe, productive, and welcoming setting for employees and visitors. You will work collaboratively with the Facilities team to respond to maintenance requests, perform routine inspections, support building operations, and assist with facility-related projects.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with daily facility operations, including responding to work order requests, coordinating repairs, and escalating issues to appropriate vendors or building personnel.
  • Conduct routine inspections of office floors, common areas, equipment rooms, restrooms, pantries, and conference spaces to ensure they are clean, functional, and properly stocked.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, assembling furniture, restocking supplies, clearing jams from office machinery, and resetting workspaces.
  • Support onsite vendor visits, including escorting technicians, ensuring work completion, and verifying service quality.
  • Assist with moves, add-ons, and changes (MAC) by setting up workstations, relocating office equipment, and organizing furniture as directed.
  • Maintain inventory of facilities supplies, track usage, and request replenishments as needed.
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards and ensure all facility guidelines, cleanliness standards, and safety protocols are consistently upheld.
  • Assist with event, meeting, and conference room support by setting up furniture, checking equipment, and returning rooms to standard layouts.
  • Partner with security, cleaning, and building management teams to maintain an optimal workplace environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding facilities issues.


Position Requirements / Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities, building operations, maintenance, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of building systems, cleaning standards, and workplace safety practices.
  • Ability to use office technology, ticketing/work order systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks necessary for facility support.
