Job Summary:
We are looking for part-time and a full-time employee that is a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Furniture Upholsterer. This is a great opportunity for someone who is willing to learn the trade, including cutting and sewing fabric, and grow their skills in a hands-on environment. No advanced experience required—just the right attitude and work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with furniture upholstery projects including removing old fabric, padding, and materials
- Learn to measure, cut, and sew fabric for custom upholstery work
- Reassemble furniture with attention to detail and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time
Qualifications:
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Coachable and open to feedback and learning new skills
- Approachable and able to work well with others
- Teachable mindset with a willingness to develop craftsmanship
- Good attention to detail and care for quality work
- Ability to use basic hand tools (or willingness to learn)
- Prior upholstery or sewing experience is a plus, but not required
