Schedule: Part time

About the Role:
Join our team as an Equipment Estimating Intern and learn how large-scale industrial equipment projects are bid, priced, and brought to life. Youll work closely with our sales and engineering teams and train directly under our VP of Sales to gain hands-on experience in vendor communication, cost estimation, and project planning for custom material handling equipment.

What Youll Do:

• Performing engineering design calculations for heavy machinery.
• Review project specs and learn to read engineering drawings.
• Assist with gathering vendor quotes and preparing bid packages.
• Support cost tracking and proposal creation.
• Learn about cranes, hoists, and other industrial equipment.
• Work alongside experienced engineers and one of the company founders.

What Were Looking For:

• Currently a Senior pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or MET (mechanical engineering technology) or civil engineering.
• Eager to learn and open to mentorship.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and basic programming skills
