We have served our community with dedication and integrity, and we are looking to add a reliable Service Porter to our team.Job DetailsSalary: $15 to $17 per hourJob Type: Full TimeLocation: Hanover, MA 02188Job DescriptionWe are seeking an outgoing and dependable Service Porter who will greet customers in our service department and assist with vehicle handling and maintenance of the lot area. This role requires a professional attitude, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in various conditions including non-climate-controlled environments.ResponsibilitiesGreet customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional demeanorAnswer customer questions and direct them to the appropriate personnelInstall protective covers such as seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats on vehicles brought in for serviceMove customer vehicles safely around the lot and service areasDeliver keys and repair orders to Service Advisors after parking vehiclesRetrieve vehicles for customers upon pickup, assist them, and thank them for their businessFollow all safety and security procedures diligentlyParticipate in staff meetings, training, and educational sessions as requiredAssist with cleaning and custodial duties in the shop and lot areasPerform other duties as assignedWork EnvironmentThis role requires physical activity including bending, kneeling, squatting, standing, and lifting heavy objects. Candidates must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions without climate control.
