Mechanic | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic breakdowns efficiently.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment issues to identify root causes.
- Install, align, and commission new manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential failures.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards and procedures during all tasks.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a similar manufacturing mechanic role.
- Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and troubleshooting complex machinery.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with PLC troubleshooting and minor programming.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
