  1. Description of the Position

Responsible for conducting routine and non-routine maintenance, inspection, and functional checks on aircraft for customer airlines. Tasks involve inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing aircraft in accordance with FAR and Customer Processes and Procedures. This includes ensuring flawless functionality and maintaining the aircraft in airworthiness condition.

  1. Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform Aircraft Line Maintenance tasks on Commercial Airliners, including but not limited to Meet & Greet, Oil Servicing, Troubleshooting, Forecast Planning and Task preparation on aircraft types according to their terms of approval.
  • Perform Aircraft walkaround on arrival/ Wake-up Check on first flight of the day.
  • Interaction and Communication with Airline representatives through different communication channels.
  • Perform tasks required by the customer and assist with additional aircraft maintenance duties.
  • Approve and return to service an airframe, or any related part or appliance.
  • Perform aircraft line maintenance tasks including but not limited to all required adjustments, inspections, repairs, and functional tests in accordance with OEM Maintenance Manuals.
  • Complete all work in a safe and timely manner.
  • Operate ground support equipment as required.
  • Assist with line maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
  • Compliant with all aircraft task assignments per aircraft manuals and regulations as required.
  • Signing the related documentation after task performance and/or inspection accordingly.
  • Support production projects as required.
  • Use only calibrated tools and/or test equipment when required throughout the line maintenance task(s).
  • Ensure all activities shall be done in accordance with the relevant processes, procedures, rules, and regulations in respect to the required quality and safety standards.
  • Be able to perform extensive troubleshooting on their own.
  • Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and structural system and diagnose malfunction.
  • Ensure rules and regulations of FAA and other agencies and authorities are complied with.
  1. Other Responsibilities
  • Maintains working area clean and organized “Clean as you go Method”.
  • Comply and ensure compliance with all local and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other tasks and projects, as requested.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance culture requirements.
  • Shows flexibility and willingness to take on additional tasks and projects as needed, demonstrating a team-oriented attitude and a willingness to go beyond to ensure the success of the organization.

  1. Education, Skills, and Competencies
  • Holding A & P License for minimum 12 months required
  • Experience in commercial Aircraft maintenance on Airbus or Boeing for at least 12 months, plus minimum 18 months in commercial/business Line maintenance.
  • Involvement in aircraft maintenance for at least 6 months in the last two years
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must have thorough knowledge in Borescope and Non-Destructive Testing.
  • Must be able to attain Required Inspection Item sign offs and Engine Run-up qualifications.
  • Must possess a strong background in Avionics troubleshooting including but not limited to LRU’s, CID’s, ELAC’s, SEC’s, FMC’s, FAC’s, FCPC.
  • Must possess a strong background in Systems troubleshooting including but not limited to Engines, Flight Controls and Landing Gears.
  • Must possess the knowledge of Flightline safety policies and procedures, but not limited to Federal, State and Local guidelines, rules, and regulations.

  • Strong knowledge and computer operational skills.
  • The ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.

  1. Working conditions
  • Extended hours, holidays, nights, overnight shift, and weekends work are required as needed, including, but not limit to 12 hour shifts and the employee should be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions on a rotating shift environment when necessary to meet organizational needs.
  • Noise and vibration are common in this line of work, particularly when engines are being tested or machinery is being used. As such, ear protection is necessary to ensure employee safety and comfort.
  • Works in an environment with variable amounts of dust, taking necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from respiratory issues.
  • Works in varying temperatures adapting to temperature changes and utilizing appropriate PPE as needed to ensure personal safety and protection.
  • Works in environments with hot surfaces and confined space areas, using necessary protective equipment and following established safety protocols to minimize risks.
  • Demonstrates awareness of the risks of exposure to toxic substances and follows established safety procedures to minimize exposure, taking necessary precautions to protect themselves and others.
  • The employee should be comfortable working in these conditions and take necessary safety precautions as needed.
  • Available to travel 100% abroad as requested.
