Our client is seeking a motivated, knowledgeable Salesperson with Bike Fit
Experience to support premium road, mountain, and e-bike sales in Richmond, VA area. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about helping riders achieve comfort, performance, and confidence on premium bikes.
This role blends professional bike fitting expertise with strong customer engagement and sales skills, ensuring every rider, especially high-end clientele, receives an exceptional experience from start to finish.
About the Role
Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in premium bicycle sales and bike fitting, understanding of anatomy and physiology, and confidence to work with discerning customers. Experience with VelogicFit or Retul is helpful but not required. Open mindedness, eagerness to learn, and commitment to serving riders is essential.
What You'll Do
- Bike Fit Expertise & Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional service to riders of all levels, with a focus on premium clientele.
- Perform bike fits to Protocols and industry-leading tools.
- Communicate fit findings and recommendations clearly and confidently.
- Stay current on fit-related products and technologies.
- Understand geometry and fit coordinates for premium brands
- Build lasting relationships with new and returning customers.
Sales & Product Knowledge
- Engage riders with thoughtful questions and tailored recommendations.
- Confidently guide high-end customers through the sales process.
- Maintain deep product knowledge of premium bikes, components, and gear.
- Support merchandising standards and visual presentation of the fit area
- Operational & Team Responsibilities
- Manage your calendar and forecast fit demand.
- Assist in sourcing new fit-related products.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing.
- Collaborate on fit-related social media content.
- Help maintain a clean, high-energy retail environment.
- Foster a positive, inclusive shop culture.

Work Conditions
Hours: Most fittings are by appointment, but normal retail hours apply.
