Job DescriptionAn established organization in the Winston-Salem area is seeking a Master Data Analyst for a contract engagement supporting a high-impact data quality initiative. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional who thrives in high-volume data environments and can ensure accuracy across complex datasets. This is a long-term contract role expected to last into 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate high-volume customer records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Determine proper disposition: approve, reject, or escalate for further review
- Cross-reference records using external data sources such as public registries and corporate websites
- Document findings and maintain a detailed audit trail across all reviewed records
- Format validated data for import using established templates
- Ensure all data aligns with internal standards and system requirements
- Manage large datasets using advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation)
- Identify discrepancies, anomalies, or gaps in data workflows
- Escalate complex or unclear records to project leadership
- Contribute insights to improve data quality processes and workflows
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with large datasets, data cleansing, or data validation projects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, filtering, data validation)
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to deliver accurate, consistent results
- Ability to independently manage high-volume workloads while meeting deadlines
- Experience researching and validating data through external/public sources
- Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM/ERP platforms
- Exposure to master data management (MDM), system implementations, or data migration projects
- Background in industries where data accuracy is critical (e.g., financial services, insurance)
Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
