Now Hiring: Caregivers with Flexible Availability in Metairie, Kenner and Surrounding New Orleans Areas
Pay $11.50-$14.00 an hour
Caregiver Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Provide toileting and incontinence assistance
- Assist with walking, transfers, and fall-prevention measures
- Prepare meals and encourage proper hydration
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
- Offer companionship, protective oversight, and routine support
- Assist with errands and transportation when authorized
- Follow each client’s individualized care plan
- Document completed services and promptly report changes or concerns
- Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and office staff
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
- 2 years prior experience required in professional caregiving, personal-care, senior-care, home-care, or healthcare experience required
- Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and personal-care needs
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Valid Car Insurance a plus
- Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings
- Willingness to follow company policies, care plans, and professional boundaries
- Flexible availability is strongly preferred.
Scheduling Opportunities
Flexible schedules may be available based on client needs, including:
- Daytime and evening shifts
- Weekday and weekend assignments
- Full-time opportunities
- On-call and fill-in assignments available
