American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro Transplant ICU position requiring Level I trauma ICU experience and a compact or Oklahoma RN license.

- Neuro Transplant ICU setting within a hospital
- Cares for a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex, including neuro and transplant ICU cases
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly

Requirements\n

- Active RN license (Oklahoma or compact/eNLC) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Level I trauma ICU experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and techniques
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills required

- Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients
- Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments, noting changes in physician orders
- Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
- Monitors physiological data and intervenes as needed
- Administers prescribed medications and manages IV infusions and blood products
- Communicates care plans with patients and families through discharge
- Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate
- Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines; onboarding requirements must be completed promptly
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Returning workers may extend only once for a maximum of 26 weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
