Duties:
Lifeguards ensure the safety of our aquatic customers by scanning the pool, preventing accidents, enforcing the rules and appropriately responding to emergency situations. All employees are responsible for keeping the facilities clean and will be asked to clean on a regular basis. All employees must attend in-service training sessions.
Qualifications:
The minimum age for Lifeguards and Swim Instructors is 15 years of age. Applicants who are under 16 years of age, must provide a valid work permit by the first day of work.
The ideal candidate will be mature, responsible and have a great attitude. The candidate should enjoy working with people and have the ability to effectively communicate with children and adults.
Employment Information:
Year round with part-time hours; including but not limited to: working during the school year and summer months.
Summer months: May - August
Sunday-Saturday 10-35 hours a week
School Year months: Sept - April
Sunday-Saturday
Staff must be able to work at least one weekday and one weekend shift
Wages:
$15 - $20 per hour, depending on experience
