We are seeking a motivated Assistant Commercial Project Manager (APM). The APM will work directly with our Project Manager and play an active role in managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and documentation. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone eager to sharpen their skills and grow into a leadership role in commercial construction management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day project activities, schedules, and budgets
• Prepare, track, and review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
• Support subcontractor bidding, scope reviews, and award recommendations
• Coordinate with field staff, superintendents, and trade partners to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Attend project meetings with clients, design teams, and GC partners
• Monitor and update project schedules, flagging potential risks or delays
• Assist in financial tracking including pay applications, purchase orders, and cost-to-complete reports
• Maintain accurate project records within Procore or similar project management platforms
• Support project closeout including punch list management, as-builts, and turnover documents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field or project administration experience strongly considered
• 1–3 years of commercial construction experience (internships or assistant PM roles strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with construction documents, drawings, and processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project); knowledge of Procore or Bluebeam a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Team-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn and grow into a PM role
