The Medical Benefits & Authorization Representative position is a fast paced, detail-oriented position that requires the ability to work through many distractions. The pay rate for the position is $17 - 20/HR. This company offers full benefits!
This Medical Benefits & Authorization Representative position will be a temp-to-hire, meaning that while SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and Snelling would be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted.
Qualifications/Responsibilities of the Medical Benefits & Authorization Representative position include:
- Previous medical office experience in insurance pre-authorizations and re-certifications preferred (through Medicare, Medicaid, major insurance companies, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication to obtain information and maintain accurate records
- Stay updated with insurance companies and see authorizations through the system
- Must be confidential
- Must have steady work history
- Responsible for timely responses to phone calls, emails, and queries from patients
- Must be willing to work in a team and share information with teammates as needed
- Must be willing to perform other offices duties as assigned
