Job DescriptionJob Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, tests, and audits of purchased parts, materials, and assemblies.
• Interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, and specifications to approve or reject units.
• Maintain documentation and perform sampling and testing of components and raw materials.
• Review and report performance data to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Determine inspection methods and procedures.
• Interface with customer quality representatives and suppliers.
• Conduct receiving inspection transactions in RIDs, review material certifications, and complete inspection reports.
• Analyze measurement results and provide comprehensive reports to engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure quality standards are consistently met and maintained.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, CAD data, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve quality processes and standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

Education And Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• OR Associate’s degree or post-secondary education with a minimum of 6 years of related experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control methodologies.
