Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance/Cleaning Associate to support the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facility. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, performing basic maintenance tasks, and ensuring all areas meet company standards. The position typically involves day shifts and does not require travel between facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas including warehouse floors, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash on a daily schedule
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including restocking supplies
- Perform basic facility maintenance such as light repairs, replacing bulbs, and minor fixes
- Monitor and report any safety hazards, damages, or maintenance needs
- Support organization of work areas to ensure efficiency and safety
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers or buffers, if trained
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years in janitorial services
