Transwest is seeking a Cashier at our Denver, CO location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional, customer service oriented attitude and exhibit a friendly, poised demeanor through first line of contact with the public and our employees. The Cashier will be responsible for a wide variety of clerical tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers.
- Collect payments (cash and/or credit and Check).
- Processing Refunds
- Working closely with Accounting
- Loaner and rental car Assistance
- Safe Handling of Cash
- Filing.
- RO Scanning
- Partial Closing of Tickets
- Communicating with porters on pickups
- Closing Repair Orders
- Cash Schedule Managing
- GMM Schedule Managing
- Isuzu Warranty Schedule Managing
- Collecting 3rd party warranty payments
- Making appt for customers
- Receptionist duties as needed.
- Following up with customer on completes tickets
- Filling in at the front desk or switchboard as needed.
- Assist the Parts, Service and Warranty departments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
- Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 20Ibs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
- Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.
- Normal range of hearing and vision.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with a MVR in good standing.
- Superior communication skills both in person and over the phone.
- 1+ year of solid administrative experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Cashier experience is a plus.
- Automotive/truck dealership experience is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
JOB DETAILS:
- Type: Hourly
- Shift: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
- Compensation Range: $19.00 - $22.00
- Reports To: Parts Manager
- Closing Date: Open until filled.
