A spa esthetician provides skincare treatments and beauty services to clients in a spa or salon setting. Their job involves a variety of tasks aimed at improving the appearance and health of clients' skin. Typical duties include:
- Facials and Skin Care Treatments: Performing custom facials tailored to clients' skin types and concerns, such as acne, aging, or dryness-in spa relaxation setting
- Hair Removal: Offering waxing or other hair removal services, including eyebrow shaping
- Body Treatments: Providing services like body scrubs, wraps, and massages to improve skin texture and health, body mud wraps.
- Consultation: Assessing clients' skin conditions and recommending appropriate products or treatments.
- Product Sales and Recommendations: Selling and recommending skincare products to clients based on their needs.
- Client Care: Creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere for clients, offering aftercare advice, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of tools and equipment.
- Staying Updated: Keeping up with the latest skincare trends, techniques, and products through ongoing training.
Requirements
The role requires knowledge of skin anatomy, products, and techniques, along with strong communication skills to ensure a comfortable experience for clients. able to respectfully take direction, follow Kahneeta Policy & procedures. Working seasonal demands! & Weekend commitments is a MUST. providing high-quality services to clients, promoting and overall wellness. They tailor each session to meet the individual needs of clients, while maintaining a calm, professional, and welcoming environment. acknowledging and willing to learn that the Kah Nee Ta Resort & Spa Wanapine are within the boundaries of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation and abide by Tribal Law & Federal law & regulations.
MUST HAVE EDUCATION AND LICENSING IN ESTHETICS CURRENT-Certificate of completion of beauty school requirements, Oregon health authority license to practice In Oregon. Submit education transcripts to qualify.
