A well-established textile manufacturing company in Maiden, NC is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join its operations team. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals with a strong industrial maintenance background who are comfortable working extended shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on textile machinery and production equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and production delays
- Assist with machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers as required by production schedules
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures before they occur
- Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and safety documentation
- Collaborate with production teams and fellow maintenance staff to support continuous operations
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and housekeeping standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
(Textile industry experience preferred but not required) - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment, motors, conveyors, and machinery
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime (48–60 hours/week)
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
