Maintenance Technician | Charlotte, MI

Salary Range: $45,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks according to work orders.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Assist with the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new machinery.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.

Recommended Qualifications

Strong technical proficiency in industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proven experience (e.g., 3-5 years) in a manufacturing maintenance role.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery, including PLC-controlled equipment.
Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Stick).
Familiarity with CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo).
HVAC or refrigeration certification.
Robotics troubleshooting experience.
