Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician
About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll handle preventive maintenance, inspections, misc. repairs to medical equipment, i.e. wheelchairs, walkers as well as a variety of other maintenance tasks throughout our community. You’ll work under the supervision of the Maintenance Director to keep our facility safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, misc. equipment
- Change filters on HVAC equipment and manage supply stocking and lifting tasks
- Prioritize and complete service requests efficiently with high-quality workmanship
- Conduct daily inspections of common areas and community amenities to ensure proper condition and functionality
- Carry out preventive maintenance on systems such as HVAC, plumbing fixtures, filers, water checks, and misc.
- Identify and report potentially hazardous situations that may not be immediately obvious to others
- Enforce safety procedures in compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Notify the supervisor of supply and equipment needs to support daily operations and resident care

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a general maintenance.
