Job Summary
The City of St. Peters is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Front Desk Attendant to join our team at the Rec-Plex. This part-time position is ideal for an early riser looking for steady, year-round hours. The current opening is for one individual to cover consistent early morning shifts-weekday openings begin at 4:30 a.m. and weekends at 6:30 a.m.-with some shifts worked solo and others alongside a second attendant. Weekday opening shifts receive Lead Pay at $15.25/hour; all other hours are paid at the regular rate of $13.75/hour. Additional shifts may become available depending on departmental needs.
Normal Shift
- 10-12 hours per week
- Weekdays: 4:30 a.m. start time (Lead Pay: $15.25/hour)
- Weekends: 6:30 a.m. start time (Regular Pay: $13.75/hour)
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patrons and provide excellent customer service
- Operate point-of-sale systems
- Answer phone calls and provide accurate facility information
- Maintain front desk and lobby cleanliness
- Monitor guest check-in and facility access
- Assist with opening procedures and perform assigned tasks independently or with another team member
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a US citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.
- Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
