Job DescriptionPosition: Seasonal Merchandising Associate (Flowers & Plants)Location: Seattle (North Seattle)Schedule: Multiple shifts available; consistent scheduling throughout the projectPay: $22.00/hr.
Express Employment Professionals – North Seattle is hiring reliable, energetic associates to support a 6week spring merchandising project. You’ll help maintain and merchandise live flower and plant displays, ensuring they stay organized, fresh, and visually appealing for shoppers.This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy handson work, staying active, providing good customer service, and working in a fastpaced environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Merchandise, organize, and maintain racks of flowers and plants.
- Water plants using provided equipment and follow care guidelines.
- Load and unload product deliveries as needed.
- Sweep and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Communicate directly with onsite project leads regarding daily tasks and issues.
- Use a mobile timekeeping app to clock in/out and record hours worked.
- Represent the project professionally while working in a retail environment.
- Provide friendly customer service to shoppers with questions or who need help.
- Follow all safety, dress code, and conduct expectations.
- Maintain consistent attendance for assigned shifts throughout the 6week project.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fastpaced roles such as retail, stocking, warehouse, or food service preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills and reliability.
- Ability and comfort performing physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and moving product.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to commit to the full project duration and maintain a consistent schedule.
- Must be comfortable using a mobile app for timekeeping.
