We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with a strong background in federal financial management systems and data migration to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience analyzing and validating complex financial data from legacy systems, ensuring data integrity, and executing data cleansing activities to support a successful transition to modern ERP environments.

This position is key to supporting federal financial transformation initiatives, improving data quality, and ensuring compliance with federal accounting and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, validate, and reconcile financial, accounting, procurement, and asset data from legacy systems prior to migration.
• Perform data cleansing, mapping, and transformation to prepare for migration into SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with financial, accounting, and IT teams to define data migration requirements and ensure alignment with federal standards.
• Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA financial modules.
• Document data lineage, reconciliation procedures, and migration outcomes to ensure transparency and audit readiness.
• Troubleshoot data integrity issues and coordinate corrective actions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Assist in developing test cases, validation scripts, and training materials to support system adoption.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 - 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst or Data Analyst in federal financial systems.
• Strong understanding of federal accounting principles, financial reporting, and data governance.
• Experience with financial ERP systems such as Oracle Financials, Altimate, or SAP.
• Proven experience in analyzing, validating, reconciling, and cleansing financial data from legacy systems.
• Hands-on experience supporting data migration projects to SAP S/4HANA.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules, including:
• • Financial Accounting (FI)
  • Controlling (CO)
  • Materials Management (MM)
  • Project System (PS)
  • Sales and Distribution (SD)
  • Business Warehouse (BW)
• Experience with federal financial compliance, OMB/Treasury/GSA reporting, or audit readiness initiatives.
• Certifications in SAP, data management are a plus.

2. The work can be performed remotely from anywhere within the United States, but on an ad hoc basis may be required to work from the Govt. client's Washington, DC, facility or their other facilities.
