We are looking for an experienced Concierge to join our team on a contract basis in McLean, Virginia. This role requires someone who is detail oriented, possesses exceptional customer service skills, strong technical abilities, and demonstrates a proactive approach to guest interactions. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and organized environment while adhering to established security and operational protocols. This position is onsite.


Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all guests, ensuring a warm and attentive greeting upon arrival.

• Verify guest identification by checking physical government-issued photo IDs and issuing visitor badges to be worn visibly during their stay.

• Escort visitors throughout the premises to ensure security compliance and provide personalized assistance during their visit.

• Maintain a consistent presence at the reception desk, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and requests.

• Manage communication tools such as Google Workspace and Slack to coordinate visitor schedules and office operations.

• Provide detailed guidance to visitors regarding the local area, including nearby amenities and transportation options.

• Support after-hours events twice per month, rotating as needed, to ensure seamless visitor experiences.

• Uphold a high standard of organization and attention to detail in all reception and concierge services.

• Collaborate with colleagues to streamline operations and ensure guest satisfaction.

• Minimum of five years of experience in customer service, reception, or concierge roles.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on delivering top-tier customer service.
• Ability to remain seated and attentive at the reception desk throughout working hours.
• Familiarity with security procedures, including ID verification and badge issuance.
• Flexibility to support occasional after-hours events as part of the rotation schedule.
• Knowledge of the McLean, Virginia area is a plus for providing guidance to visitors.
• Detail-oriented approach and ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
